Our Accommodation

As the name already suggests our accommodation in the main house is in a very cottage style. On the first floor we have one large, en suite, double room, which is accessible by a spiral stair case. You can sleep under the big Velux window which has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and a clear view of the stars at night. The room also offers a comfortable, sitting room area, with a large selection of old books.

The power shower, with its handmade French tiles, has been added recently and the double room can be fitted with an extra bed. The twin room, with private bathroom (bath and shower), is situated on the ground floor with views on to the garden and the lodge. The private bathroom is opposite the bedroom and is for twin room guests' private use only.

Our Lapland Lodge offers unique accommodation for up to 3 – 4 guests (max. 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 not grown-up children). We have provided sleeping bags with silk liners which lie on top of cushions and sheep skins. Guests have a separate and adjoining cabin with a Belfast sink (hot and cold water) and toilet.

Just outside there is a 300 year old pine tree where you may experience the sounds of the owls and other visiting birds. The many candles and the fairy light make a stay at the lodge an unforgettable cosy experience.

Please note: Health and safety / fire & insurance policies do not allow an open inside-fire / BBQ when the lodge is being used for overnight stays.

The decked platform of the lodge is the ideal place to have your sun downers or late night drinks, certainly one of the most romantic settings one can imagine. All rooms offer tea and coffee facilities, hair dryers and free WIFI (cottage rooms only). Breakfast for all guests is being served in our gardens or the breakfast room in the Cottage (no breakfast served in the Lodge).

 A mobile outside grill is also available to all our guests who may enjoy a private BBQ in our lovely garden. During the colder season we also offer Swiss cheese fondue or raclette evenings (pre-booking essential).
