April Cottage & Lapland Lodge isn't too difficult to find as we are on the main road (A351) between Swanage and Corfe Castle (please see the interactive map below).
There are two routes into the Isle of Purbeck, either via the A351 through Wareham and Corfe Castle or via Poole, Sandbanks and the Chain Ferry to Studland.
If you are travelling to April Cottage & Lapland Lodge via Wareham look out for the sign to South Instow in Harmans Cross which is on the right hand side of the main road to Swanage after you have passed through Corfe Castle. A Union Jack and the Swiss flag fly alongside our B & B billboard on the main road.
If you travel over the Sandbanks Ferry, head for Swanage and Corfe Castle and you will be on your way to Harmans Cross. Once you leave Swanage, stay on the main road and South Instow will be on your left.
We stayed one night wish it could have been longer. Lovely owners who could not do enough for you. Really was exceptional. You can actually feel their joy in giving you the best experience possible in lovely surroundings. We could recommend a stay here with no reserve whatsoever.
Lucky to find availability. From arrival to departure, a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were made to feel so welcome, comfortable and at ease. Room lovely, cosy and clean. Beautiful garden and setting to relax in. Hosts were amazing and the breakfasts really something to remember. A culinary treat!

This is a fairy-tale place - a cosy cottage filled with really interesting things, set in a gorgeous garden. Really comfortable bed, lots of extras provided and a fabulous breakfast. Peter and Joey are really welcoming and the whole place is just built for relaxation. A much-needed oasis in a busy work week!

Very picturesque cottage with an amazing garden and cute lodge. The hosts are very nice, and you feel straight away at home there. Very clean with lots of lovingly arranged details. Breakfast and the optional fondue/raclette are outstanding! Perfectly placed to reach many sights and worthwhile excursions and walks.

1st class level of hospitality, welcoming, friendly, and helpful on arrival, lovely, cute little cabin with not a single thought spared by the guys that run it and obvious they would go above and beyond to cater for anyone’s needs. Lovely nights get away.
My daughter and I spent one night at the beautiful Lapland Lodge hut during a visit to the Isle of Purbeck. We received a very warm welcome and felt at home straight away. The hut is situated in a beautiful garden and is cosy, comfortable, super clean and has the charm of a traditional Swiss chalet. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious full English breakfast that was impeccably prepared and served. We'll definitely be visiting again!
I can’t recommend this magical place enough, beautiful place in a breath-taking setting. We were made so welcome yet also had as much privacy as we needed, beautifully clean and well run, a real find.
